Terms & Conditions

The rules governing use of Bentto customer, payment, cashback, vendor and local-commerce services.

Effective: 27 September 2026Last updated: 27 September 2026India

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Bentto's website, customer app, vendor/partner services, payment, cashback, rewards, discovery, order and related features. By creating an account, using Bentto, or completing a transaction through Bentto, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from this website.

2. What Bentto provides

Bentto is a local commerce platform that may enable users to discover nearby businesses, view offers, pay participating merchants, receive eligible cashback or rewards, and access order or delivery features where enabled. Bentto also provides participating vendors with tools for payments, branches, transactions, offers, customer engagement, catalogue management and business insights.

Important: Participating merchants are independent businesses. Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific service, the merchant remains responsible for the quality, pricing, availability, tax invoice, fulfilment and legality of its goods or services.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of using the service and completing the applicable transaction. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your account and OTPs, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Verify the merchant, branch and amount before confirming payment.
  • Use Bentto only for genuine personal or authorised transactions.
  • Do not manipulate QR codes, cashback rules, referrals, location, transaction values or account identities.
  • Provide correct delivery or contact information where an order requires fulfilment.
  • Contact the merchant or Bentto promptly if a transaction appears incorrect.

5. Vendor and partner responsibilities

Participating businesses must provide accurate business, branch, pricing, offer and settlement information; honour genuine transactions and published eligible offers; comply with tax, licensing, consumer-protection, payment and data-protection obligations; protect customer information; and cooperate with transaction, refund, dispute and fraud reviews.

Vendor access may be restricted if information is false, settlement details cannot be verified, prohibited products or services are offered, customer complaints are not reasonably addressed, or suspicious transaction behaviour is detected.

6. Prices, taxes and charges

Prices shown by merchants may include or exclude taxes as stated by the merchant. Any delivery, convenience, service or platform charge applicable to a transaction should be shown before final confirmation. The merchant is responsible for issuing the applicable tax invoice unless Bentto expressly states otherwise.

7. Payments

Payments may be routed through authorised payment gateways, banks, UPI networks or other payment providers. A transaction is treated as successful only after confirmation from the relevant payment system and Bentto's transaction records. Network or bank delays can cause a payment to remain pending temporarily.

You must never share a UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or banking OTP with Bentto support, a vendor or any person claiming to represent Bentto.

8. Cashback and rewards

Cashback and rewards are promotional benefits, not cash deposits or guaranteed investment returns. Eligibility can depend on merchant, branch, campaign, transaction amount, payment status, category, time period and other published conditions.

  • Cashback is credited only after an eligible transaction is successfully verified.
  • A refund, cancellation, chargeback, fraud finding, duplicate transaction or policy abuse may cause related cashback to be reversed.
  • Promotional limits, expiry dates or usage conditions may apply where clearly disclosed.
  • Bentto may correct an obvious technical or calculation error after reasonable review.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by Bentto's Refund & Cancellation Policy and, where applicable, the participating merchant's disclosed fulfilment terms. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method unless law or the payment provider requires another method.

10. Delivery and fulfilment

Most Bentto pay-at-store transactions do not involve shipping by Bentto. Where a merchant enables ordering, pickup or delivery, the Shipping & Delivery Policy applies. Estimated times are not guarantees and may be affected by merchant preparation, traffic, weather, address accuracy, demand or third-party logistics.

11. Prohibited use

You may not use Bentto for fraud, money laundering, self-payments designed only to generate rewards, illegal goods or services, false accounts, payment credential theft, system interference, unauthorised scraping, abuse of promotions, impersonation, harassment, or any activity prohibited by applicable law or payment-partner rules.

12. Intellectual property

Bentto's brand, software, interface, content, graphics and platform technology are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Merchants retain responsibility for the rights in the product images, names and content they upload.

13. Third-party services

Bentto may integrate maps, payment providers, analytics, communication tools, app stores and other third-party services. Their separate terms may apply to their services. Bentto is not responsible for an external service that is outside Bentto's reasonable control.

14. Service availability and liability

We aim to keep Bentto reliable and secure, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bentto is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from merchant conduct, bank or network outages, third-party systems, inaccurate user-entered information or unauthorised use caused by failure to secure account credentials.

Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Suspension or termination

Bentto may suspend or restrict an account or transaction where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment-provider requirements, unresolved KYC, policy abuse or material breach of these Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve a complaint through Bentto support and the grievance process. Any further dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of a competent court in India, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
